Springhill Group Home : How To Apply For Bank Loans
http://springhillgrouphome.com/2012/12/springhill-group-home-how-to-apply-for-bank-loans/
Nowadays, banks doors are seem to be close for the public because of the effects of unfettered credit card debt, housing foreclosures, and price increases on everything from a gallon of gas down to a can of sardines, bank loans are fast becoming a shrinking commodity due to economic downfall. The banking world is acting in response to the economic turmoil by tightening the reigns in the lending department.
With the cards stacked up against many bank loan applicants and with the big chances of getting knocked back can seem prohibitively high, this became sour news to consumers and small businesses in need of additional funding.
It may seem impossible so forget all the doom and gloom rather present a clear, compelling case, backed up by hard facts, you stand a great chance of getting the money you want. Banks are still also a business and they want to lend money to viable businesses alone. They will definitely lend you money if you can show them that your business can produce enough profit to prosper and you are able paying them back. It will also be a plus point if you have track record to point to.
Being prepared is always the key, you will have a higher percentage of getting what you want if came prepared. You need to know exactly what you want before you start pitching for a bank loan because if you aren’t clear in your own mind what you want, tendencies are you will be turned down at once.
You’ll need to present a credible business plan and be able to speak with confidence about your business’s commercial offering. You may ask help from a business adviser towards your business plan. Plan your dialogue; know exactly how much money you need and how you will spend it. It will make you look organized and goal oriented. You must explain them clearly how the cash you are asking for will increase profit in your company or business. Be ready to present monthly cash flow projections for the next four quarters. This is necessary so will be able to demonstrate you can comfortably meet interest and loan payments or in other words you can really pay them. Expect that the higher amount you’re asking for the more details you are ask to give. It is also better to include a ‘repayments’ figure in your calculations.
You must give the impression to the bank that you are the real deal. Be ready to detail any market research you have carried out. The people in your team is also a plus, make them realize that you have the best team and your business is a sure hit.
Nothing beats being honest but also remember to be energetic and enthusiastic to build rapport to the one your dealing with. The bank will need a true picture of your business so it will also be a good idea if you mention weakness in the business but not too much or else you will fail.
After making sure about those details, also it is better to have all documents to hand so that you are able to furnish the bank with up-to-date personal and business financial histories. Bring with you acceptable credit score or personal reference, and to go through your latest accounts, tax returns, assets and liability statements.
Lastly, you need to think about terms. This is very important. How many years will you need to repay the loan? Make sure you have fixed rate of interest, or a variable rate which moves up and down with the Bank base rate. The terms should fit your business strategy, and ensure you can continue to meet your repayments even if the company hits turbulence.

Springhill Group Home Loans – Forensic Loan Audits Are New Mortgage Loan Modification Scams
http://springhillhannahbrooklyn.wordpress.com/2012/08/06/springhill-group-home-loans-forensic-loan-audits-are-new-mortgage-loan-modification-scams/
Jerry Brown issued a press release stating that these loan audits are nothing more than loan modification scams that are taking advantage of people’s desperation in the midst of the nation’s persisting economic troubles. He joined with the California Department of Real Estate and the State Bar of California to warn homeowners who face the danger of foreclosure, to avoid such scams because they offer no help towards saving their home from foreclosure.
The Latest among Many Loan Modification Scams
Last year, the California Department of Real Estate investigated more than 2,000 cases of loan modification scam and from that number, 350 scam operations were ordered to terminate their illegal activity according to the attorney general’s office.
According to the article, the spokesman for the attorney general, Evan Westrup, explained that “It’s the latest phony foreclosure-relief ’service’ by an industry that continues to be long on promises and short on results…another way to get homeowners in distress to pay for services that ultimately aren’t helping or providing the relief they need.”
The “Forensic Audit’ Loan Modification Scam
This particular scam entices homeowners through newspaper advertisements, as well as radio and television spots. The hook is to get homeowners to believe that they can find errors, improper documentation, or outright illegal activity in the way the mortgage was originated or within the loan itself. Supposedly, with such information, the homeowner will have sufficient leverage to fight the lender in the home loan-modification process with the hope of receiving assistance in keeping their home. The provider of such a noble service simply charges an upfront fee. Tragically, the audits provide no benefit, as they have nothing to do with helping those facing foreclosure proceedings.
Even Legitimate Forensic Loan Audits Provide Little Help
On the attorney general’s Web site, Jerry Brown stated: “Forensic loan audits are…hawked by loan-modification consultants trying to cash in on the desperation of homeowners facing foreclosure…there is no evidence or statistical data to support claims that forensic loan-audits — even if performed by a licensed, legitimate and trained auditor, mortgage professional or lawyer — will help homeowners obtain loan modifications or provide any other foreclosure relief.”
Brown’s warning comes now, even though in October of 2009, California outlawed the practice of prepaying for mortgage loan modification. In reality, it doesn’t appear to have stopped the more creative criminal minds.

China
paper hints at anti-Japan sanctions
BEIJING: The mouthpiece of China’s Communist Party warned on
Monday that Japan’s economy could suffer for up to 20 years if Beijing chose to
impose sanctions over an escalating territorial row.
Anti-Japanese protests have been held across China in recent days
over a dispute on a group of small islands in the East China Sea claimed by
both countries but controlled by Tokyo.
The row intensified last week when the Japanese government bought
three of the islands, effectively nationalising them, and China responded by
sending patrol ships into the waters around them.
Trade sanctions between Asia’s two biggest economies could cast a
pall over growth on the continent, which major Western countries are counting
on to drive recovery from the global slowdown.
A commentary in the People’s Daily newspaper said the Japanese
economy has already experienced two lost decades from the 1990s and was
suffering further weakness in the aftermath of the world financial crisis and
2011 earthquake.
Digital news offering aims at high ground
WASHINGTON: It seems like a terrible time to be launching a news
operation. But there are opportunities and niches, and the new digital media
launch called Quartz from Atlantic Media Company seeks to exploit them.
Quartz is set to launch in the coming weeks as a “100 percent
digital” news operation covering “the most important themes of the new global
economy,” said editor-in-chief Kevin Delaney.
Quartz has been recruiting a small number of veteran journalists
for an overall news staff of around 25 people. The operation will feature
tablet and mobile displays as well as a desktop website, qz.com.
“There is an opportunity to do great journalism on a digital
platform,” Delaney, a former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal Online,
told AFP.“It’s a great time to launch a proBject like this. We’ve learned the
lessons of what works over the last few years.”
Quartz will offer free content, with revenue coming from
advertising, aiming to cover key global business issues and reach readers
around the world.“We’re really confident in the ad-supported model,” Delaney
said. “There has been strong advertiser interest.”
The name Quartz was chosen “because it embodies the new brand’s
essential character: global, disruptive and digital. Quartz, the mineral, is
found all over the world, and plays an important role in tectonic activity,” a
statement said.
South Korea think-tank cuts growth forecast
SEOUL: South Korea’s state-run think-tank on Monday cut its
forecast for the country’s growth this year to 2.5 percent, citing the Eurozone
debt crisis.
The Korea Development Institute’s latest outlook is well below the
government’s revised growth forecast in June of 3.3 percent, and over a
percentage point below a May prediction of 3.6 percent.
The country’s exports dropped sharply for a second straight month
in August, suggesting the export-reliant economy is struggling with shrinking
demand overseas.
It said Asia’s fourth-largest economy is expected to expand 3.4
percent next year, gradually recovering from the slowdown caused by slow
exports and sluggish domestic demand.
Philippines tips economy to grow six percent
MANILA: The Philippine economy could grow by almost six percent
this year thanks to improving business optimism despite a series of destructive
storms in recent months, officials said on Monday.
The economy, which grew by 6.1 percent on year in the first half,
could do even better in the rest of the year as the government implements
measures to boost laggard sectors, socioeconomic planning secretary Arsenio
Balisacan said.
He added outsourced businesses, trade and tourism were all doing
well and agriculture and manufacturing were expected to pick up in the second
half.
“With the healthy macroeconomic fundamentals and the higher
business optimism, we will most likely hit the upper end of the 5-6 (percent)
target,” he told a forum with investors.
Heavy rains and storms last month and early-September, which left
huge parts of the capital flooded, killings scores and displacing millions, had
only a minimal effect on the economy, Balisacan added.
He said farmers still had time to re-plant after the storms,
adding that the floods affected mostly small businesses and not the large
factories or call centres.
Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez cited the 11.68 percent rise in
tourist arrivals to 2.2 million in the first half of the year as a further
reason for optimism.
Central bank governor Amando Tetangco reported a 5.3 percent rise
in remittances from the millions of Filipino working overseas to $13.3 billion
in the first seven months of 2012.The officials also reported increased
interest from potential foreign investors, following President Benigno Aquino’s
election in 2010 on an anti-corruption platform.
Turkish unemployment rate drops to 8 percent
ISTANBUL: Turkey’s unemployment rate fell to eight percent of the
workforce in the three months from May to July, the lowest in more than a
decade, official data showed on Monday.
The number of unemployed people fell by 311,000 over the period to
reach 2.226 million, Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK) said on its website on
the basis of a survey of 95,699 people.
Unemployed rate stood at 9.2 percent in the same period of 2011.
Since then the number of people in jobs increased from 24.901 million to 25.577
million.
Turkey’s economy staged a spectacular recovery from the global
crisis, growing by 8.9 percent in 2010 and by 8.5 percent in 2011.Unemployment
remains a major challenge for the government in a 73 million strong country
where many young people enter the workforce each year.
Turkey’s jobless rate is determined through household surveys
across the country, which are then used to make a nationwide three-month
projection.
But experts say the figures do not reflect the overall picture
because of widespread undeclared or hidden unemployment, or the employment of
highly-educated people in menial jobs. Turkish unemployment rocketed to an
annual 10.3 percent in 2001 following a major financial crisis, from a steady
6.5 percent in the previous year.

APL announces final cash dividend of Rs32.50
KARACHI: Attock Petroleum Limited (APL) announced on Monday a
final cash dividend of Rs32.50 per share though its profit-after-tax for the
year ended June 30 slightly down by four percent to Rs4.12 billion from Rs4.25
billion last year, said a statement of the company.
The divided was in addition to interim cash dividend of Rs17.50
per share. Therefore, total divided for the year was calculated at Rs50 per
share, according to the profit and loss account of the company.
The earnings per share stood at Rs59.61 from 61.58 last year.

percent to Rs11.85 billion for the year ended June 30 from Rs10.81 billion
earnings last year, said a statement on Monday.
This translated into the earnings per share of Rs50.11 from
Rs45.72 last year, according to the profit and loss account of the company.
The company announced a final cash dividend of Rs35 per share.

billion last year. Exploration cost declined by 45 percent to Rs1.07 billion
from Rs593.55 million. However, the financing cost increased by 206 percent to
Rs684.57 million from Rs223.93 million.

Attock Refinery Limited posted a net profit of Rs2.73 billion for
the year ended June 30, which was 25 percent higher than Rs2.18 billion last
year, said a statement.
The net profit included profit-after-tax from refinery operations
of Rs1.14 billion and income from non-refinery operations of Rs1.58 billion
during the period under review.
Last year, the company earned Rs1.11 billion from refinery
operations and Rs1.06 billion from non-refinery operations, said the profit and
loss account of the company. Therefore, total earnings per share stood at
Rs32.07 from Rs25.63 last year.
The company also announced a final cash dividend of Rs6 per share.

Rs425.66 million earned in the previous year, said a statement issued by the
company.
The earnings per share (EPS) were calculated lower at 29 paisas
against 52 paisas last year, according to the profit and loss account of the
company available with the Karachi Stock Exchange.
M Affan Ismail, an analyst at BMA Capital, reported that EPS
diluted in the year under review due to addition of 1,905 million shares. The
increase in earnings was primarily attributable to strong gross margin coupled
with improved sales, he said. Phenomenal surge in cement prices coupled with
meager decline in coal prices resulted in gross margin growth of nine
percentage points to 27 percent.
Moreover, the utilisation of additional capacity of 2.1 million
tons resulted in higher sales, which further improved the profits.
The net sales of the company surged by 143 percent to Rs11.52
billion from Rs4.74 billion last year. However, financing cost on loan obtained
for capacity expansion kept the earnings under pressure, as the cost augmented
to Rs1.83 billion from Rs103.92 million last year.

North Korea uses infected games to DDoS South Korea | Naked Security
FILED UNDER: Featured, Law & order, Malware
According to a news report in the Korea JoongAng Daily, the 39-year-old game distributor was arrested on June 3 and charged with violating the National Security Law.
The law is North Korea-specific. Passed as the National Security Act in 1948, it outlawed: communism; recognition of North Korea as a political entity; organizations advocating the overthrow of the government; the printing, distributing, and ownership of “anti-government” material; and any failure to report such violations by others.
The man was identified only by his family name, which news outlets render as either Cho or Jo. Police claim that Cho met with North Korean spies who had set up a hacking base disguised as a trading firm in the Northeastern Chinese city of Shenyang.

The North Korean spies were allegedly associated with the country’s Reconnaissance General Bureau.
According to the Federation of American Scientists, this department ferrets out strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence for the Ministry of the People’s Armed Forces and plants spies in South Korea, either via boat or though tunnels under the demilitarized zone.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police said that Cho paid the spies tens of millions of won to develop the illegal game software.
Ten million won is equal to US $8520 or £5514.
The police allege that Cho turned to the reconnaissance unit to develop the games at this cheap price and knew they were infected.
According to Geek.com, the cost of the infected games was about one-third of a typical price.
Cho is also accused of setting up a server in South Korea that the North Koreans used in attempts to launch DDoS attacks at South Korean networks.
According to Geek.com, one such recent DDoS attack was launched against South Korea’s Incheon International Airport. Airport departures were disrupted multiple times in the spring of 2011 as a result.
The attack used a botnet of zombified computers that had been infected after their owners downloaded the Trojans by playing the poisoned games.
The police said Cho retained the personal information of hundreds of thousands of South Koreans, having collected the data from major portals.
This isn’t the first time North Korea has been implicated in cyberwarfare against South Korea.
There have long been claims that North Korea is operating a cyberwarfare unit (presumably being countered by the one alleged to exist in South Korea), and in 2008 it was reported that South Korea’s military command and control centre were the target of a spyware attack from North Korea’s electronic warfare division.
The sexy female seductress at the centre of that case, who was accused ofseducing army officers in exchange for military secrets, was subsequently jailed for five years.
In 2009, a massive DDoS attack crippled 26 South Korean and foreign governmental websites, including military sites.
This spring, between April 28 and May 13, North Korea’s Reconnaissance General Bureau also managed to devastate GPS signals throughout the Korean peninsula.
The Reconnaissance General Bureau’s cultivation of cyber warriors is now at such an advanced state, in fact, that a South Korean expert recently claimedthat North Korea’s abilities to wage a devastating cyber war are behind only those of the US and Russia.
News Center – Springhill Group Home Loans: Tips for Home Employment to Avoid Work-At-Home Scams
1. You must know the person you are dealing with. Most company that hires employee do not offer to employ you directly, just to sell you training and materials and to look for customers for your work.
2. Do not be a dime a dozen. Managing a business is just like any other business which requires hard work, skill, good products or services, and time to make a profit. Additionally, there is no such thing as sitting on a rackin’ chair and just waiting for the time of giving checks.
3. Be observant and cautious about the emails you are receiving that includes an offering of work at home opportunities. Most of these acts are deceptive.
4. Put into practice the so called “know and pay”. You have to know first everything in detailed before making a plan or action to a certain situation.
5. Find a picture paints a thousand words. Claims that there are customers for work such as medical billing and craft making may not be true. If the company says it has customers waiting, ask who they are and contact them to confirm. To make an assurance, ask likely customers in your area if they actually hire people to do work at home.
6. Get references for other people who are doing the work. Ask them if the company kept its promises.
7. Check of about legal requirements. There are works that cannot do at home and requires some license or certificate that proves you are an authorized person to the work. Check with your state attorney general’s office. Ask your local zoning board if there are any restrictions on operating a business from your home. Some types of work cannot be done at home under federal law. Look for the nearest U.S. Department of Labor in the government listings of your phone book.
8. Know the return and exchange policy. If you have to buy equipment or supplies, ask whether and under what circumstances you can return them for a refund.
9. Get rid off the old envelop stuffing scheme. This is a usual scam in which instead of getting materials to send out on behalf of a company, they will give you instructions and will ask you to send them a money for information about working at home, considered as an illegal for the reason that there is no real product or service being offered.
10. Be cautious of the statement: Advance on your pay. This is just their intro into their long tragic story to have an audience and be their listener and soon be their member on the very theatric act. Possibly, they will give you a check for part of your first month’s pay. You deposit it, and the bank tells you the check has cleared because the normal time has passed to be notified that checks have bounced. Then, the criminal will ask you to return a portion of the payment for some different reason. After sending the money back, the check that you deposited finally bounces because it turned out to be an intricate forged. Now the criminal have your payment, and you’re left owing your bank the amount that you withdrew.
11. Make your own research about work-at home opportunities. Look for reviews, articles or even magazines that can give you an advice or tips on how to determine whether the work is accurate or forged. Ask also some of the persons that is same with the profession of the said employer and to really check if there is alike work of your employer’s offering. Before you make an application, reassure all the important information of the employer that you can work with. The in-detailed identification of the company or of the employer in which you can hold, when something wrong happen.

New Zeus Malware Scam Promises Rebates, Security
CSO — A new Zeus P2P malware variant discovered last week by security vendor Trusteer is attempting to scam users of some of the Internet’s most popular and trusted brands — Facebook, Google Mail, Hotmail and Yahoo — with promises of rebates and new security measures.
Slideshow: The Future of Malware
In a blog post, Trusteer CTO Amit Klein ays the scams “exploit the trust relationship between users and these well-known service providers, as well as the Visa and MasterCard brands, to steal users’ debit card data.”
As usual, the fraudsters try to trick users into providing confidential financial information: debit card number, expiration date, security code, and PIN. On Facebook, a web inject offers a 20-percent cash back offer by linking a Visa or MasterCard debit card to their account.
What is unique about this one, Klein writes, is that “in the attacks against Google Mail, Hotmail and Yahoo users, Zeus offers an allegedly new way of authenticating to the 3D Secure service offered by the Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode programs.”
Trusteer’s director of product marketing, Oren Kedem, says while web injects are common, this is the first time he has seen a scam try to use 3D Secure. “Many customers are familiar with it,” he says, “and it has become so trustworthy that victims could see it as a plausible approach.”
In this case, the lure is convenience. Victims are told that if they link their debit card to their web mail accounts, “all future 3D Secure authentication will be performed through Google Checkout and Yahoo Checkout respectively,” and, of course, that they will be protected from fraud in the future, by providing their confidential information. The Hotmail attack is similar.
Users are “reassured” that, “Your Debit Card pin is ONLY used for verification purposes. It activates CashBack option. Never disclose your Debit PIN to anyone, including family and friends. Your Debit PIN is confidential and is for your use online.”
Kedem says he does not know how many people have fallen for the scam, “but since this is a version of Zeus, which is the No. 1 malware out there and since just about everybody uses one of these services, there is a large number of targets.” He says Trusteer has notified the companies of the new variant.
Kedem says the most common way to get infected with the Zeus malware is by “drive-by” download - simply by visiting a website with the malware present. It then takes over the user’s browser when one of the targeted sites, like Facebook, is visited. He says users should take the usual precautions with any unsolicited offer they see online that asks for confidential information.

South Korea Group of Springhill | edublogs.org
China has been quietly and gently pressuring North Korea to scrap plans for a third nuclear test, said two sources with knowledge of closed-door discussions between the countries, but there is no indication how Pyongyang will react.
If North Korea goes ahead with the test, China would consider taking some retaliatory steps, but they would not be substantive, a source with ties to Pyongyang and Beijing said.
North Korea has almost completed preparations for the test, Reuters had reported in late April, a step that would further isolate the impoverished state after last month’s failed rocket launch that the United States says was a ballistic missile test.
“China is unhappy … and urged North Korea not to conduct a nuclear test near Changbai Mountain,” said the source, who declined to be identified.
China feared a radiation leak and damage to the environment from a blast, the source added. “China also complained about the environmental damage to the area after the first two tests.”
When North Korea conducted nuclear tests in 2006 and 2009, it caused environmental damage to the mountain straddling the border with China. North Korea ceded part of the mountain to China in 1963.
It was unclear if the secretive North Korean government, typically unwilling to bow to outside pressure, would defer or drop the plans. China is the closest thing to an ally that North Korea has.
“The impact on China’s northeast would be huge,” the source said of a third test.
Chinese officials have discussed whether threats of diplomatic action would be effective, but any action might be restricted to some economic measures to signal China’s displeasure and would not affect vital food aid for North Korea, the source said.
A Western diplomat, who also asked not to be identified, confirmed that China has put pressure on North Korea to abandon the test.
Major diplomatic repercussions were unlikely, however, said Jin Canrong, associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University in Beijing. Instead, Jin, who has knowledge of how China deals with North Korea, said China may use financial levers to influence its neighbour.
“If closed-door negotiations fail to produce results, economic aid could be cut,” Jin said, adding that imports of mineral resources and unspecified “special local products” could also be reduced.
China condemned North Korea’s first nuclear test in October 2006, carried out in defiance of China’s public pleas, and it supported a UN resolution that authorised sanctions. It backed sanctions again after the North’s second test in May 2009.
